" I work against the fast-paced rhythm of our time. My photographic approach is slow, meditative, almost ritualistic. Although I use digital equipment, I maintain the habits of analogue photography: I shoot sparingly, I don’t look at my images right away, and I never edit them. The framing is that of the captured moment, often rediscovered weeks later with raw sincerity.
My preferred subjects are landscapes — chosen for their silence and light —, street art — for its human and ephemeral essence — and contemporary architecture. I am drawn to the subtle poetry of reality, to the interference of natural light, and to the tension between raw matter and human presence.
The choice of medium is an integral part of my process. I spend hours selecting the paper that resonates with the image, as one might choose a second skin. For certain works, I choose silk — noble, fluid, fragile — which I sometimes transform into wearable pieces. In this way, the image becomes garment, movement, a trace worn on the body."
